Mes recherches portent sur l'étude de processus socio-cognitifs (ex. comparaison interpersonnelle et intergroupe, mémoire transactive) et des interactions sociales et leur impact sur les performances à des tâches cognitives (résultats académiques, quiz en ligne, productions d'idées créatives,...). Je contribue également à la mise en place de nouvelles méthodes pour l'étude de ces processus ainsi qu'à la conception d'environnements numériques pour la formation, la créativité et l'innovation, ... Une partie de mes recherches est orientée vers la psychologie sociale appliquée à la formation, où il s'agit d'optimiser les performances et apprentissages à partir des technologies et des environnements numériques. Dans ce cadre, mes recherches se centrent notamment sur l'utilisation des technologies et leur intégration dans l'enseignement pour stimuler les interactions sociales propices aux apprentissages (ex. boîtiers interactifs, applications multi-écrans). Je suis amené à expérimenter certaines stratégies d'enseignement qui reposent sur les pédagogies interactives pour stimuler la participation des étudiants et améliorer les apprentissages et la réussite académique (ex. enseignement par les pairs, apprentissage collaboratif).
